Free time

I can't decide what to watch on TV. It's either Olympic hockey, which I am not that into or a movie marathon on the Hallmark Channel. Mom just pulled out the second season of one tree hill that is definitely a valid option. I should probably stick to my word association app. I really enjoyed how challenging it is. I think that app has really strengthened my eyes. The app gives you a bank of words and you have to find all the matches in under a minutes time. I find it extremely fun and it really gets my blood pumping. I really need to work on my accuracy, in terms of pressing the word. Sometimes, I think it is highlighted when it is actually not.
Sorry for the blocks of text. This is my first time posting a blog using our iPad. I am actually excited that I can post on my blog using something other than my computer. Anyway, bear with me as far as the Formatting  I am still working out a lot of the kinks

Celebrity Name Game

When mom met me up this morning, she was asking me which celebrity was my favorite, you know favorite female actress or male actor. It reminds me of a one, of one of those  party games that are meant to catch you offguard guard. She asked me a bunch of other questions, I answered accordingly. At the end of the game and after I was done using the toilet and eating breakfast… I wished that I would have been able to come up with better responses.  I think I said Jim Carrey and Julia Roberts. Looking back however, I would have changed my answers. Jim Carrey would have been a contender but Matthew McConaughey would have knocked him off of the top spot. As far as favorite actresses go, and still would have been Katherine Hagel, even though her career has been put on hold because of her desire to have a family. The End of The Bucket List

Noah finally reached #99 today. The reporter and photographer from the local paper had just left, when I arrived. “ The basket hit the ground safely, I see.”             “Yes,” he replied. “As you predicted, it would have been more fun with my Emilee. The Longest Ride pages 1 through 12

I have recently started reading Nicholas Sparks’ latest novel The Longest Ride. As far as I can tell, this novel is written from the perspective of different characters. In the first chapter, we meet Ira. I believe he is in his early hundreds. He spends much of the first few pages talking about the close relationship he had with his father. What I liked most about this particular section was that it showed how human Ira was. He is an elderly man who was shaped by the guidance of his parents and the love of his wife. Of the only part I didn't particularly care for was the appearance of Ira's late wife. It seems to me that Sparks used this premise in his last few novels but I can be certain. One of the things that I enjoyed most about this first chapter was the amount of history that was involved in it. It seemed slightly reminiscent of Nicholas Sparks’ first big novel The Notebook.
